SALES ASSOCIATE

We design, build and sell powerful, intuitive software solutions that help architects, engineers, educational institutions and local government agencies to identify, assess, and manage accessibility barriers. With BlueDAG, our subscribers are able to optimize their ADA compliance initiatives and remediation efforts, maximize their resources, and reduce their risk exposure.
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Associate will drive open-to-close sales for BlueDAG’s products from organizations across the US. A typical workday consists of emailing and calling prospects and encouraging them to schedule an initial discovery meeting and product demonstration. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop messaging and campaigns, leveraging modern technology to streamline the prospecting process. The Sales Associate will qualify leads and build a pipeline for sales success as well as conduct business dealings with prospects in a way that creates a superior experience for them by truly understanding their needs and objectives.
THE WORK YOU WILL DO
● Run targeted outbound campaigns to prospects—using a mix of emails, calls, and social media to drive interest
● Conduct baseline research on targeted accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information prior to prospecting call
● Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects
● Articulate BlueDAG’s value proposition to decision-makers to assess buying interest
● Vet all leads based upon specific qualification criteria
● Achieve or exceed goals for evaluations and first meetings on a monthly basis
● Work with marketing to identify and build campaigns, including CRM management
● Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of BlueDAG software suite and support services
● Clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers
● Proactively grow knowledge of market and competitors via online research and webinars
● Engage with social media platforms, creating alerts on keywords, researching topics and sharing information with individuals responsible for producing the content and responses
● Update lead rank/stage and prospect interaction in CRM throughout sales process
● Provide weekly activity report to management
● Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle
WHAT YOU BRING
● Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years of work experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Excellent communication skills in writing, speaking, listening and cold-calling
● Energy, impeccable integrity and personable demeanor.
● Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solution sets
● Ability to converse with and influence key organizational stakeholders
● Knowledge of marketing techniques and databases used in marketing a plus
● Experience with Hubspot a major plus
● Able to work independently in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment
● Solid understanding of social media tools including LinkedIn, Facebook, blogs and social media monitoring tools
● Must demonstrate an ability to inspire confidence and work collaboratively with customers, management and peers
● Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace including, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as web meeting technology

TRAVEL
Travel is required ~20% of the time, usually in a group, and paid for by the company. Typical travel includes multiple annual trade shows and client needs such as onboarding and training.
COMPENSATION
The minimum starting salary for this position is $48,000.00 annually + commission for full-time employees. Commissions are not capped, nor are they drawn against future commissions. In gov-tech positions like this base salary generally represents less than 25% of your overall compensation. You may also be offered bonuses, stock options, and other incentives tied to performance and goals.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive owns the relationship with key BlueDAG accounts and assists customers in the growth and expansion of their usage of the BlueDAG software through continuous selling and expansion into new departments. The Account Executive’s primary goal is to truly understand what our subscriber’s needs are, manage their continued engagement with BlueDAG, and ensure we are supporting them to continually achieve their ADA initiatives.
THE WORK YOU WILL DO
● Conduct discovery sessions directly with existing customers to gather technology and business requirements
● Work to develop and execute existing customer requirements and strategic business needs and objectives, including qualifying decision makers, budget, and implementation time frame
● Facilitate a safe work environment for creative thinking and collaboration resulting in more team wins
● Identify prospects for customer expansion opportunities
● Build positive customer relationships which contribute to long-term customer satisfaction
● Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals outlined by management
● Develop and maintain a consistent and accurate pipeline
● Develop and implement sales strategies, secure business growth opportunities, and establish a superior solution image
● Demonstrate the BlueDAG software solution to prospective clients
● Manage the strategic relationship with clients and key partners
● Provide first-level technical and solution support
● Conduct ongoing marketing research to identify prospects and target markets; take market research to next level by creating a knowledge database used in sales
● Continuously update and maintain CRM database
● Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
WHAT YOU BRING
● Four-year degree and 5 years of sales experience required, OR high school diploma/equivalent and at least 7 years of previous sales experience required
● Possess a passion for changing the way local governments do business
● Proven experience with successful software sales using a solutions-oriented approach
● Thorough understanding of the procurement process at all levels of government
● Proven track record in territory planning, client prospecting, deal management, closing sales, and developing contracts
● Verifiable, above-target achievement over time
● Energy, impeccable integrity and personable demeanor
● Ability to understand and communicate complex business needs and propose corresponding technology-based solutions
● Excellent customer service skills including the ability to progressively probe, analyze and identify root causes of problems, provide practical solutions, and negotiate resolutions
● Ability to make independent business decisions considering both the impact to client satisfaction and overall financial ramifications for BlueDAG
● Ability to inspire confidence and work collaboratively with customers, management and peers
● Experience with managing and closing single-seat deals through enterprise-wide implementations
● Ability to identify and develop strategic relationships

● Strong work ethic with outstanding time management skills
● Proficiency with presenting and demonstrating technology solutions to groups and individuals at all levels
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Demonstrated proficiency with automated office tools Microsoft Office and Google Workspace including, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as web meeting technology
● Proven ability to act as a trade show/sales seminar leader
● At least 2 years of successful previous experience working remotely
● Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance required
