BlueDAG Maintains Service and Operational Capacity During COVID-19 Crisis

With increased attention to the COVID-19 outbreak, each day brings more uncertainty for businesses and our communities. Our team is monitoring developments on the outbreak and are taking the appropriate steps to help support the ongoing health and safety of our employees and customers.

We know that your primary concern is making sure you are taking the appropriate precautions to care for yourself, your family, and others around you.

We have recently heard from a lot of our subscribers, and we wanted to update you on our operations and infrastructure:

  • Our systems will continue to operate uninterrupted.

  • Our support team will continue to stay available to you to support changing working conditions as you make adjustments in response to the outbreak.

  • We are continuously monitoring bandwidth usage with tools that reveal network trends, along with performance and capacity reports to help us manage our network and internal systems.

  • We have taken several steps to help ensure the reliability of our critical business processes and supporting infrastructures so that we can continue to provide high-quality service to you.

  • We have asked all of our employees, including all who interact with our subscribers, to take appropriate preventative measures to help stop the spread of this disease. This includes the regular and consistent washing of their hands, limiting subscriber engagement to teleconferences and virtual meetings, and upon request, working remotely from home.

  • Importantly, we have encouraged any employee who does not feel well to stay home, get well, and avoid interacting with subscribers and other employees.

Our goal at BlueDAG is to continually provide you with a premium level of service, not only throughout the year but especially during this time. We will keep you updated with system and operational changes via email. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you,

Christoffer James

BlueDAG Web Portal Updates: Reporting Controls, Photo Reordering

At BlueDAG, we are always working to improve and streamline the functionality and performance of our ADA inspection, reporting, and compliance tool suite. Here’s a roundup of the latest changes and improvements that we’ve made to our web portal interface:

Exclude Findings from Reports

  • Subscribers can now exclude individual findings from reports as desired, by using a new radio button control which is located at the bottom of the findings details screen on the Findings tab. Findings which have been excluded from reports will be automatically moved to a special area container, which is labeled “Findings excluded from report.” Excluded findings retain their original area assignments, so when subsequently changing the radio setting to include the finding in reports, it will be automatically moved back to its original area container.

Reordering of Findings Photos.

  • Subscribers with multiple photos per finding can now reorder their photos as they wish. Working from the evaluation’s Photos tab, simply expand a finding to display its photo thumbnails, then drag and drop the thumbnails to create the desired order, with the left-most photo being the primary finding photo.

A video that highlights these new features has been added to BlueDAG’s YouTube channel:

New Whitepaper: ADA Compliance With The BlueDAG Title II Suite

BlueDAG has released a new whitepaper: “ADA Compliance With The BlueDAG Title II Software Suite.” This 16-page document provides the reader with an executive overview of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, focusing on the Act’s ramifications for public agencies. It then explains and demonstrates the means by which BlueDAG’s Title II Suite enables subscribers to effectively manage the five administrative requirements of Title II of the ADA.

Filled with illustrations, software screenshots and case examples, this whitepaper provides the reader with solid introductory understanding of the methodology and architecture of BlueDAG’s Title II suite. ADA Title II Coordinators for U.S. cities, counties and states, as well as of specific departments of those agencies, will find this whitepaper to be an effective and informative introduction to BlueDAG’s software tools.

Please accept this whitepaper with our compliments. Those ADA Title II Coordinators who wish to delve deeper into the capabilities of BlueDAG’s Title II suite may contact us to schedule a phone consultation or live web demo to see BlueDAG in action.

Private-sector ADA Coordinators will find the section of the whitepaper which deals with Evaluations and Barrier findings to be relevant to their site inspection responsibilities, and they are encouraged to download the document and review those sections.
